Hi Donna,

The first story that came to mind is a Zen Tale called The Gift of Insults
Zen Stories to Tell Your Neighbors
http://www.rider.edu/~suler/zenstory/insults.html

Another story which might work is More Than A Match by Aaron Shepard, written
under his pen name of Aaron Piper many years ago. I used this tale during a
series of performances on conflict resolution last year.

The story can be found at: More Than a Match
http://www.aaronshep.com/stories/001.html

Aaron is very generous with his permission to tell. Good luck.

warm wishes,
Karen Chace
