MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit Friends I am doing a program at an art gallery in conjunction with a friend's art installation. Her work fuses thrown-away objects and detritus with handmade paper to create new worlds... I am collaborating with a musician who works with instruments made from trash I plan on telling "Why the Sky is So Far Away", a Bini pourquoi tale and a tale from the Miskito Indians called "The Invisible Hunters" - both stories are about human greed and waste bringing calamities, upon humankind or on individuals...I am also thinking of a tale (not sure of the origin...) of the coat that used and used and recut and reused used until finally it is used to cover a button. My musician and I were wondering about tales of the earth regenerating, giving life to people...either origin tales, or ....We are looking for a story or two...any suggestions? (if you will be in NYC on Feb. 11 and 12, we will be at the Ceres Gallery, and would love to have any support and comments!) Regards Robin if I am not for myself, who am I? if I am not for others, what am I? if not now, when? ------------------------------- To Unsubscribe from Healingstory send the message: unsubscribe healingstory to: listserv@maelstrom.stjohns.edu ------------------------------- | ||
