hi,
in yoga
the term isvara pranidhanad implys surrender, or surrender to whatever a
person's religious functional diety is.
in addition to using it in our recent women's storytelling event, i use it to
illustrate isvara in yoga with Fatima the Spinner and The Tent, how she
laments continuous misfortune which eventually lead to fulfillment down the road of
life. Found in Tales of the Dervishes, by Idries Shah. Also the Jewish story
the Wooden Sword, is a beautiful example of trust in the present moment and i
believe, surrendering to it.
namaste!
