Have folks been following the story on the link between sleep and
creativity, and the findings that confirm that the brain/mind processes the
days events and in fact re-organizes experience in a way that makes it
easier to solve problems the next morning? Somhow I think this is related
to Andy's point. During the day...or days, or months we be consumed by
problems and unaware of the story we are living. But perhaps as we get
perspective and re-organize our experience, we begin to make meaning...and
that's how the problems become steppingstones.
These new revelations about sleep and creativity and problem solving also
give weight to the formula in Russian stories... "Morning is wiser than
evening."
