Have folks been following the story on the link between sleep and creativity, and the findings that confirm that the brain/mind processes the days events and in fact re-organizes experience in a way that makes it easier to solve problems the next morning? Somhow I think this is related to Andy's point. During the day...or days, or months we be consumed by problems and unaware of the story we are living. But perhaps as we get perspective and re-organize our experience, we begin to make meaning...and that's how the problems become steppingstones. These new revelations about sleep and creativity and problem solving also give weight to the formula in Russian stories... "Morning is wiser than evening."
