I thought there might be someone on this listserv with an idea or perhaps a source to suggest to me. There is an elder friend of mine in a local nursing home who is bed ridden. She suffers a huge amount of pain because of fire-engine red soreness over her lower buttocks and inner thighs. The staff has been working on this issue for months. The pain is excruciating (especially when she is cleaned or has sat too long in one position). She does not have bed sores. Is this something she must live with?
