Subject: getting rid of personal history

Such an interesting discussion. Usually, I just "listen" and learn.

This discussion has such personal reverberations that I will venture forth,
work out some of my thoughts, and chime in.

(FIRST TIME CALLER ON THIS HSA RADIO STATION)

I believe people very often have a need to repeat and repeat and repeat,
searching for a witness and searching for a resolution. Solutions are not
easy. Healing takes time, and can be tiresome to those who wait for the
"whole darn thing to be over, for once and for all!!!"

And it is true, as Laura and others wrote, that in this "mess" "chaos"
"mishegas" or whatever, lies creativity, personal archetype, and opportunity
for exploration. (I like this..thank you....a new way for me to look at and
through such problems)

However, my gut reaction was, and is, I LIKE THIS QUOTE! It speaks to me.
Me personally. It speaks to the parts of me that want to complain and not
really search through the fog. That want comrades for alliances, not for
help in growing. That want to stay still and (yes)"wallow", instead of look
deeper/farther for comprehension/spiritual/ awakening/use. That can swing
the pain around and around, using it as a barrier between me and the world.

What do I take from this quote? That there is time to let go, not of the
history or the reality, but of the complaints and the convolution of reality.
That in the moving on, the pain is transformed into some useful "things" (be
it stories, vision, ability to help others, creativity)

Well, I thank all of you for the opportunity to keep thinking about
everything this quote has brought up for me. And for all the new thoughts
and ideas I keep learning from all of you.

Robin
