His other book, _Jonathan Livingston Seagull_, was a favorite of mine when I was a young girl. If you, or anyone else loves books with a positive message, I would suggest one by another storyteller/writer/author and good friend of mine, Greg Leifel. His book, _The Day I Met Walt Whitman_ ranks right alongside of Richard Bach's work in my humble opinion. Greg's words are juxtaposed with Whitman's from Leaves of Grass and the book is filled with incredible insight and thoughtful introspection. It is totally life affirming. I am reading if for the third time and I find new wonders between the pages every time I pick it up. My apologies if this sounds like a commercial but I believe it is essential reading for anyone who is trying to learn from their past and move forward, with a sense of renewal, to the future. If you are interested go to www.thrivingmoss.com for more information. You can also read a wonderful review of the book by fellow storyteller Leanne Johnson. She has captured the very essence and spirit of the book with her eloquent words. Wishing everyone a joyous new year filled with peace, health, love and stories. blessings, Karen Chace | ||
