CHILD AND ADOLESCENT INTERDISCIPLINARY RESEARCH NETWORKS (NIH)

facilitate interdisciplinary approaches to significant Public Health
questions in child and adolescent mental health. This initiative serves as
a catalyst for the Institute's long-term commitment to strengthening the
research base on child and adolescent mental health. Critical to these
efforts is the recognition of the importance of linking basic science and
clinical intervention development, of accelerating the pace of intervention
development by repositioning such work within real-world settings, and of
realigining the evidence base with clinical and service practice.
