I just replied to an email from Gail Rosen in which she asked me to share
some of what I've done/am doing. This is what I wrote:

I am actually in the throes of planning with one of my storytelling
partners, Barbara Palumbo, a workshop for hospice volunteers right now. Maybe
I could write a report to the group after it's been presented.

As for my work in Domestic Violence shelters, I have big file of material.
Off the top of my head, I can tell you that I've used "Lia" from Mirrors of Womanhood>, "The Caged Bird" from < Best Loved Stories the Texas
Storytelling Festival>, "The Lady of the Lake, " a Welsh folktale, a selkie
tale, and "The Monkey's Tale" from . I'm sure I'll
remember more as time goes on. I've always told to the adult victims, never
to children in domestic violence situations, though I'd love to do that, too.
