It's a story that says that no matter how difficult your life, how oppressed, ignored, mistreated, you have been; there is always the marvellous possibility that someone may look right past all that and see you beautiful, radiant, adored. Who doesn't want that, male or female? I think that's what a good therapist does, among other things. See the beauty, and mirror it back to the client. It's what a good storyteller does, too......
