story is helping me to move on from an aneurysm
without story I would probably still be trying to go up the creek without a
paddle.
if anyone tells you that stories can't heal
tell them this story

A Storyteller was called by the parents of a sick child, they said that the
Drs had said the child was going to die and the child was in such pain that
it could not sleep.
The Storyteller came and whispered in the child’s ear.
The child went to sleep and slept for 3 days. When the child awoke it was
well.
The parents went to an intelligent man and asked him what to give the
Storyteller for the miracle.
The intelligent man said to give the Storyteller nothing, because the
Storyteller was a charlatan and a few words whispered could not do what
medicine could not do.
When the Storyteller heard what the intelligent man had said, the
storyteller went to the intelligent man calling him a fool told him not to
interfere in matters he knew nothing about.
The intelligent man got all red and shouted at the Storyteller that
storytellers should not call others “fools”.
The Storyteller asked if a few words could make him so red and angry why
could not a few other words help a sick child to sleep.
