Dear Tom,

I bet you're one of the "Closet Storytellers," of the
friendly kind, who will one day venture to share at some
Open Tell, somewhere. I consider Story Listeners to be
just as important to the process of "Telling" and
"Listners." We Tellers need the listners, possibly
sometimes more that than they need us. And, if a story
that you heard touched you in some way, postive,
in-between, negative...you the listner received and gave
something to the Teller(s. And, wasn't necessary for you
to communicate to the Teller(s) what you received and
gave.

Making it simple...using the old description...."If a
tree fell in the forest and noone was present to hear it,
was it a sound? If a storyteller told a story in the
forest and no one was present to hear it, was a story
told? LISTENERS ARE IMPORTANT TOO!
