DIVING IN THE MOON The Healing Story Alliance will begin producing our journal, Diving in the Moon: Honoring Story, Facilitating Healing, as an e-journal that will be published online on the HSA website. We invite you to send your articles and written or spoken stories, as well as your poetry and art related to our chosen themes, as submissions for our first online publication of Diving In The Moon. The Healing Story Alliance explores and promotes the use of storytelling in healing. The goal for this special interest group is to share our our experience and our skills, to increase our knowledge of stories and our knowledge of the best ways to use stories to inform, inspire, nurture and heal. We also wish to reach beyond our storytelling community to share with those in other service professions; therapists, clergy, health care practitioners of all kinds, anyone who can see the benefit of story as a tool for healing.
The HSA website offers suggestions, guidance and practical applications of storytelling. It is a kaleidoscope revealing and reflecting the many facets of healing story in the world today and in the past. We invite you to make use of, and share your experience as we continually grow this changing field.
At this moment, many people are drawn to this site as they search for answers or resources on how to deal with the pain and tragedy of events such as the shootings of children in Connecticut, the uprooting of families and communities through natural disasters and human initiated aggression (from bullying to war).

- HSA Listserv provides a forum to open and expand discussions on matters that call for the wisdom of the entire community.
- Teleconferences share meaningful perspectives of some of the field's leading practitioners and provide an opportunity for dialogue.
